The Subcommittee on Buddhist Families under the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Central Committee for Buddhists’ Guidance held from August 2-4 a training camp and a seminar at Tu Quang pagoda located in Gia Lai province’s Duc Co district in provinces of Central Highlands.
The camp’s opening ceremony saw the presence of Most Venerable Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Central Committee for Buddhists’ Guidance Thích Thanh Hùng, Venerable Chairman of the Camp’s Organizing Board Thích Nhuận Đạo, and over 1,500 leading Buddhist youth from Buddhist Families in provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong.
Guests at the event included Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affair’s Buddhist Affairs Department Bùi Hữu Dược and Chairman of the Provincial Religious Affairs Committee in Gia Lai province Hồ Hải Tần.

The training camp aimed to promote experience exchanges for developing Buddhist Families in Central Highlands, as well as foster knowledge management skills for leading youth in Buddhist Families.
