On April 1, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Southern Office held a conference to review Buddhist activities in five provinces of Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
The conference were co-chaired by Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council cum Head of the Central Inspection Committee Thích Thiện Tánh, Most Venerable Head of the Legislation Committee Thích Huệ Trí, and attended by representatives from the VBS Executive Committee of five provinces in the Southeastern region.
On behalf of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân attended and delivered a speech at the conference.
