The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in collaboration with the provincial Youth Union organized a program for providing free meals to students and their relatives during the national high-school exam on June 25-27.
At exam locations, Most Venerable Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province Thích Gia Quang and the other Buddhist dignitaries visited and extended wishes to participating students.
This year, the supporting program was organized in 21 exam locations in seven districts and the provincial city. The organizing board of the program set up volunteer groups to cook and provide nearly 4,000 free meals for students and their relatives during the three-day national exam.
This is the third consecutive year the provincial VBS organized the program for supporting local students in their high-school graduating exam.
