VBS in Ha Tinh visits religious committee on occasion of founding anniversary of the state governance on religion

A delegation led by Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Ha Tinh province Thích Viên Như paid on July 31 a visit to the Committee for Religious Affairs in the province, on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the state governance on religion (August 2, 1955-2020).
Welcoming the Buddhist delegation was Chairman of the provincial religious committee Phan Quốc Khánh.
During the visit, Ven. Thích Viên Như extended congratulations to officers and staff of the provincial religious committee on the occasion of the state governance on religion, and thanked the religious committee for its due attention and support extended to the provincial VBS over the past years.
Speaking with the guests, Chairman Phan Quốc Khánh praised efforts of Buddhist followers in the province in strictly observing regulations of the Prime Minister and local authorities for preventing the Covid-19 pandemic. The Chairman also asked the provincial VBS’ Executive Committee to continue guiding followers to strictly undertaken measures for preventing the new outbreak of the Coronavirus in the country.
