Venerable Thích Viên Như, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Ha Tinh province paid on August 1 a visit to the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs on occasion of the 67th founding anniversary of the state governance on belief and religion (August 2, 1955- August 2, 2022)
During the visit, Venerable Thích Viên Như extended best wishes to all officials and staff of the provincial religious committee on its founding anniversary and took the chance to thank the committee for its due attention and support extended to the provincial VBS over the past years.
The Venerable expressed hope that the religious committee would continue creating favorable conditions for local religions in general and Buddhism in particular.
Speaking with the guests, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Phan Quốc Khánh thanked the provincial VBS executive committee for its visit and highly appreciated practical contributions of the provincial VBS for the sustainable development in the locality over the past years.
