Many chapters and worshipping places of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Dong Nai province have brought supports to disadvantaged people in the locality, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
The VBS Executive Board in Bien Hoa city has presented 300 gift sets with the total value of 120 million VND to disadvantaged people and Agent Orange victims in the city.
The VBS Executive Board in Long Thanh district has handed over 600 gift sets, valued at over 300 million VND in total, to the poor locals, Agent Orange victims and elderly people in eight communes of Phuoc Thai, Phuoc Binh, Tan Hiep, Bau Can, Long Phuoc, Long An, Binh An and Binh Son of the district.
Thai Hoa pagoda located in Dinh Quan district’s Dinh Quan town has brought 150 gift sets, valued at over 300 thousand VND each, to disadvantaged families, as well as 50 stationery sets to poor pupils, in the locality.
Phuc Lam pagoda located in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Tien commune has presented 500 gift sets with the total value of 235 million VND to poor people and the Blind Association’s members in the locality.
