A delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Social Charity Board in Ben Tre province visited on March 25 the Standing Board of Youth Union in the province, on occasion of the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Union (26/3/1931 – 26/3/2021).
The VBS delegation led by Venerable Thích Trí Thuận, Head of the social charity board, was welcomed by Deputy Secretary of the provincial youth union’s standing board Võ Tuấn Thông.
During the visit, Venerable Thích Trí Thuận highly appreciated the coordination of the provincial youth union with the VBS chapter in general and the social charity board in particular in mobilizing resources for social work in the locality over the past years.
While extending congratulations to the provincial youth union board’s officials and staff on occasion of the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Union, the Buddhist dignitaries expressed wishes for the strengthening of youth movements in the province in the coming time.
