The 6th requiem ceremony for heroic martyrs was held on March 11 at Khanh Lam pagoda in Kon Tum province’s Konplong district.
The ceremony was organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Chapter in Kon Tum province in collaboration with Konplong district authorities. It aimed to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and people in Konplong district in the cause of defending the country.
During the ceremony, Most Venerable Thích Nhuận Trí initiated prayers and Buddhist rites for spiritual uplifting of heroic martyrs with the participation of Buddhist dignitaries, representatives from local authorities and large numbers of Buddhists and local residents.
