A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Committee for Clergy Education conducted working visits to Buddhist colleges in Northern region from May 7-9.
The delegation, led by Most Venerable Thích Giác Toàn, Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council cum Vice Standing Chairman of the Central Committee for Clergy Education visited and held meetings with Buddhist schools in provinces of Nam Dinh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Ha Noi, Bac Ninh and the Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Ha Noi city.
During working meetings, the Management Board of Buddhist schools briefed the current training and education situation for Buddhist monks and nuns, and also proposed recommendations to improve management and quality in Buddhist training schools.
