The event saw the participation of Most Venerable Member of the VBS Executive Council cum Head of the VBS Chapter in the province Thích Như Tước, and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns in the locality.

Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Lê Quang Đạo and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Văn Hồng Quân also joint Buddhist dignitaries at the event.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Lê Quang Đạo extended best wishes and happy celebrations of the Buddha’s Birthday to local Buddhists. He also took the chance to praise practical contributions of local Buddhists to socio-economic development in the locality.
