The delegation led by Senior Venerable Thích Quảng Lộc, Chairman of the VBS executive board was welcomed by Vice Chairwoman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Lê Thị Hồng Trang.

During the visit, Senior Venerable Thích Quảng Lộc handed over 100 million VND to the Covid-19 vaccine fund. He also stated that the VBS executive board would continue mobilizing monks, nuns and lay Buddhist to make further contributions to the vaccine fund, as well as strictly implementing the 5K recommendation of the health sector and guidelines of local authorities for the epidemic prevention.

On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Lê Thị Hồng Trang took the chance to thank Senior Venerable Thích Quảng Lộc and the VBS executive board for their practical contributions to the Covid-19 prevention in the province.

Earlier, during the launching ceremony for donation to the Covid-19 prevention fund in the province held on June 4, the VBS executive committee in Tien Giang province also presented 216 million VND to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
