The Representative Committee of Tu An Hieu Nghia (Four Debts of Gratitude) Faith in An Giang held on January 4 a meeting to review its performance in 2019 and approve working plans for 2020.
The event saw the participation of members of the representative committee, heads of branches and 80 key members of the religious sect in the locality.
Local guests at the meeting included Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Trương Hoàng Trọng and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu.
As reported at the meeting, in 2019, followers of the religious sect in the province actively participated in charitable activities for building charity houses and supporting poor people in the locality.
According to a working plan for 2020, the provincial Representative Committee of religious sect will make preparations for the 3rd national congress of the Tu An Hieu Nghia faith (the 2020-2025 tenure).
