The event nominated six members to the Standing Board of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Association with Rev. Nguyễn Ngọc Trác selected as Chairman of the committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Earlier, the 3^rd national congress of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association successfully convened in November last year in An Giang province has selected 16 members to the association’s executive committee for the 3^rd term and adopted its current, which had been called as Tu An Hieu Nghia Faith organization prior to November, 2020.

In addition, the congress of the Buddhist Association also adopted its revised Charter, which consists of 24 articles, 4 more articles than the last Charter with changes in its name, symbols, flag, principles, organizational structure, etc for administrative adjustments in accordance with the Law on Belief and Religion 2016.
