Nun Thích Nữ Huệ Ánh, Abbess of Truong Phuoc pagoda in Tan Huong commune of Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district organized on October 13 a charity program to present gift sets to workers in Tan Huong industrial zone in Chau Thanh district.
The Abbess has mobilized resources from Buddhists and other donors for presenting 250 support packages including rice, instant noodle, soy sauce and cooking oil, worth 50 million VND to workers in Tan Huong industrial zone facing difficulties due to the pandemic.
Nun Thích Nữ Huệ Ánh informed that the pagoda has twice presented essential supplies to workers and provided hundreds of meals, drinking water and facemasks to workers returning from Ho Chi Minh city and Eastern provinces
