Truong Mit Caodai Parish in Tay Ninh province’s Duong Minh Chau district held on April 28 a solemnly ceremony for installing the worshipping symbol of Divine Mother.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church, and about 1,500 Caodai followers.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Committee Nguyễn Vĩnh Thế and representatives from local authorities.
Truong Mit parish was established in 1962. Parish’s Divine Mother worshipping temple was built in 1964 and has seriously been degraded after over 50 years of existence. In early 2017, local authorities approved for the parish to reconstruct the worshipping temple. After 2 years of reconstruction, the temple has been completed at the total cost of over 2.7 billion VND.
