The Tran temple festival 2018 in Nam Dinh province kicked off on the 11th day of the first month of the lunar calendar (February 26) and will conclude on the 16th day (March 3).
The festival will feature traditional activities including water procession and fish worshipping rituals, dragon dance, etc. The seal opening ceremony, the main ritual of the festival, will take place on the 14th night of the first lunar month (March 2).
According to Vice Chairwoman of Nam Dinh city People’s Committee Phạm Thị Oanh, this year, the festival organizing committee will work with bank inspectors to identify and find those who stalk visitors for small banknote exchange.
