Attending the event were key cadres in charge of religious affairs in the city.

Presenters at the training included Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee in Ho Chi Minh city Nguyễn Thiện Nhân.

During the training, Secretary Nguyễn Thiện Nhân, who is also a Politburo member, highlighted the need for understanding and implementing state policies and laws on religion & belief at all levels and people in the city.

The secretary also asked municipal authorities to promptly address issues for meeting reasonable and legitimate demands of religious practices by religious followers in the locality and create favorable conditions for religious organizations to enhance their roles and responsibility in the national construction and defense.
