A mission of the Tra Vinh provincial Military Command on October 8th visited the pagodas of Tra Dieu, Me Pang, Kinh Sang, and Rus Sroc in Phong Phu commune, Cau Nghe district, during the Sen Dolta Festival of the Khmer ethnic minority group.
During the visits, the mission congratulated and gave presents to Khmer monks and Buddhist followers, wishing them to have a happy and joyful festival in unity. In addition, the mission briefed local people on the task performance of the province's armed forces over the past time, especially in staff training, mass mobilization and policies for the Khmer ethnic minority people.
For their part, the local monks thanked the provincial military command for their care and expressed their determination to fully support the national renovation process in the time to come by bringing into play their patriotism and solidarity to actively contribute to the socio-economic development and the security-defense maintenance in the locality.
