The Solidarity Day for Catholics in Ha Tinh province’s Can Loc district have eagerly been prepared, marking the 87th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Most of streets and local roads through Catholic-concentrated areas have been kept clean, as well as decorated with posters upholding social unity and Catholic solidarity. Many national red flags have been raised in Catholic households. These all aim to promote fine traditions for socio-economic development in the locality.
Van Thinh village in Can Loc’s Xuan Loc commune has all 600 residents followed Catholicism with 117 households. Head of the village Trần Thanh Hải informed that, to promote social unity and religious harmony, local residents have actively prepared for Solidarity Day to be held in the cultural center, and all logistics including food stuffs and music for the festive event have been arranged.
Catholics in Residential Area 10 in Nghen town have also eagerly prepared for the solidarity Day. Head of the residential area Trần Phúc Trọng shared that, the residential council have developed a specific plan for the joyful event celebrated in clean residential areas and natural environment with local art performances.
