The organizing board of the summer retreat course for monks in Tien Giang province held a session on June 23 for Buddhist monks to learn about the constitutional provisions related to religion.
The event held at Vinh Trang Pagoda saw participation of nearly 100 monks from Buddhist temples in the province.
During the session, Vice Chairman the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khê briefed the current religious life in the locality and the stipulation of all constitutions, including the first constitution 1946 and the current constitution 2013, regarding the religious policy of Vietnam.
