Tien Giang province: New-term Representative Committee of Caodai Ante-Creation Church makes its debut

Tien Giang provincial Representative Committee of the Caodai Ante-Creation Church for the 2015-2020 tenure made its official debut at a ceremony held at Minh Duc oratory in My Tho city on June 15.

Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee Ngọc Huyện Thanh, Head of the provincial Representative Committee of the Caodai Ante-Creation Church and representative from the management board of 22 Caodai parishes in the locality.

Local guests at the ceremony included Vice Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê and local authorities’ representatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Trần Văn Khuê congratulated the new representative committee expressed his hope that the new committee would continue to guide Caodai followers to live “for better secular and religious life” and make practical contribution to the socio-economic development in the locality.

The Representative Committee of Tien Giang provincial Caodai Ante-creation Church for 2015 – 2020 tenure consists of seven members headed by Chairman Priest Thượng Thêu Thanh.
