Hung Hoa Tu temple in Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district under the Pure Land Buddhist Association inaugurated its charity clinic (Phuoc Thien) at a ceremony held on August 13.
Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of Tien Giang provincial Pure Land Buddhist Association’s Executive Committee Nguyễn Văn Vị and heads of the charity health board and local followers.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê.
The clinic consisted two function rooms, used for health checks, provision of traditional medicines and acupuncture, built with a total cost of over 800 million VND and with new medical equipments such as medicine shelves and beds, and acupuncture machines… worth nearly 200 million VND.
