Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyễn Dung, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province; Dr. Nguyễn Quốc Tuấn, Director of the Institute for Religious Studies; Mr. Cái Vĩnh Tuấn, Director of provincial Home Affairs Department; Mr. Hoàng Trọng Bình, Vice Chairman of provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Phan Xuân Toàn, Vice Chairman of provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyễn Tài Tuệ, Chairman of provincial Committee for Religious Affairs; representatives from local authorities and religious dignitaries from four religions in locality.

At the conference, the delegates heard the introduction of the Decree No. 92/ND-CP of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, including general regulations, belief activities, religious organizations, religious activities, and administrative procedures amended and supplemented under the jurisdiction of the Home Affairs Department in Thua Thien Hue province.
