On December 2, the Ministry of Public Security announced the investigation results of impersonating Facebook page of member of the Islamic State (IS) to threat and incites terrorism.
From November 17-27, the Network Security Department in collaboration with police of Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces to verify and find who used Facebook account for impersonating IS’ member to threat and incite terrorism.
The local Public Security arrested three students, including 14 year-old student L.B.B of Vo Xan Secondary School in Binh Dinh province’s Tay Son district, 13 year-old student P.T.P.T of Phu Loc Secondary School in Đắk Lắk province’s Krông Năng district and 14 year-old student D.T.B.P of Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
It’s reported that 14 year-old student L.B.B illegally appropriated Timur Yunusov Facebook account, changed avatar (image) by a member of the IS image and posted contents of agitation, threaten terrorist attacks in Arabic.
The three students admitted their mistakes and pledged not to repeat their violations. Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security has assigned local governments, families and schools to continue education and management.
