The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Board in Go Cong Dong of Tien Giang province has handed over three rural bridges at a ceremony held on October 29.
The event held in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) saw the participation of the Senior Venerable Chairman of Go Cong Dong VBS’s Executive Board Thích Bửu Hòa, Venerable Deputy Head of Go Cong Dong VBS’s Executive Board Thích Minh Đạo, Deputy Head of Go Cong Dong Mass Mobilisation Commission Mai Văn Cười, Vice Chairman of Go Cong Dong VFF Huỳnh Hữu Chiến and local authorities’s representatives.
As reported, the three bridges in the communes of Tan Dong, Tan Tay and Kieng Phuoc in Go Cong Dong district were built by concrete and steel with from 18-25m long and 1.5-3m wide, and completed after two months of construction at the total cost of 285 million VND.
