The Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) held on November 25 a closing ceremony for the 2017 training of the supplementary theology course for Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc provinces in Da Lat Protestant Church.
Attending the ceremony included Pastor President of the ECVN cum Director of Bible and Theology Institute under ECVN Thái Phước Trường, pastors from the ECVN’s Executive Committee, representatives of the ECVN’s representative committee in provinces of Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc, and 151 Protestant trainees from the two provinces.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức was amongst local guests at the event.
As reported, training participants have completed 16 subjects relating to Christian theology, and additional topics on the history and laws of Vietnam. As reported, the Protestant trainees will continue their two-year internship at Protestant churches, chapters and groups in the localities, and then take one-year study before graduation.
