According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there are currently 1,417 relic sites worshipping Hùng Kings and related figures, located in almost provinces and cities in the country.
In particular, Viet Tri city and three districts of Ha Hoa, Thanh Thuy and Doan Hung in Phu Tho province have 432 places, including 40 shrines and temples worshipping Hùng Kings, 77 relics worshipping relatives of Hung Kings, 288 sites worshipping Tan Vien and other generals under Hung Kings, and 87 others related to historic events during Hung King era.
Hung temple located in Nghia Linh mountain, Phu Tho province is the first place dedicated to the worship of Hùng Kings.
The worship of the Hung Kings contributes to raise awareness of the country origin, and the national independence and unity.
