The 2nd annual meeting of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam

The 2nd annual meeting for 2018 of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam (CBCV) took place in My Tho Diocese’s pastoral center located in Tien Giang’s province My Tho city on September 24-28.

The meeting saw the presence of Archbishop Marek Zalewski, Non-resident Special Envoy of the Vatican to Vietnam, Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh, President of the CBCV and bishops from 26 dioceses across the country.

The four-day meeting focused on activities of functioning committees under the CBCV and exchanges on pastoral activities in each diocese in the country.

On the occasion, the CBCV also had a meeting with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs on the implementation the Law on Belief and Religion.
