Thanh Mau Catholic parish in ward 7, Da Lat city held on September 1 a mass for starting the new school year 2019 – 2020 and presenting gifts to pupils with high academic achievements in the parish.
The event saw the presence of Priest Dominic Nguyễn Chu Truyền, head of Thanh Mau parish, and pupils, students and their relatives in the parish.
During the mass, 177 pupils and students in the parish received certificates of recommendation for their high school results during the past school year.
On the occasion, two needy pupils with high academy performance received two scholarships worth VND 1.5 million each.
