Thanh Hoa authorities to spend 453 billion VND for renovating Trieu Tuong Mausoleum site

Authorities in the central province of Thanh Hoa on May 15 approved a project to restore Trieu Tuong Mausoleum site located in Ha Long commune, Ha Trung district.

Accordingly, the repairing items of Trieu Tuong temple includes gates facing the four directions, temples, lakes, and wells mentioned in ancient documents, etc.

The renovated items of Truong Nguyen tom will include the main gate, Trieu Tuong worshiping place, relocation of families and graves within the site, etc.

The total investment of the restoration project is 453 billion VND from the state fund and contributions from benefactors and organizations.

Trieu Tuong Mausoleum site located in Gia Mieu village, Ha Long commune of Ha Trung district, was built by King Gia Long in 1803 as a place of worship of the ancestors of the nine lords and 13 kings of the Nguyen Dynasty. It has been built with a large scale and currently preserves special architectural and artistic values.
