Review of religious affairs 2015 and approval of its working plan 2016 in the Northern province of Thai Binh took place at a meeting held on January 18 by the provincial authorities.
Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Đặng Trọng Thăng chaired the event.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman Đặng Trọng Thăng frankly pointed out weaknesses and remaining issues in enforcing regulations on the state governance on religious affairs in the locality. He also emphasized the dissemination of the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State on religion and professional training for local officials working on religious affairs, human rights, including the right to freedom of belief and religion, for the year ahead.
