Temple of King Mai Hac De opened in Ha Tinh

Authorities of the north-central province of Ha Tinh have inaugurated the temple of King Mai Hac De while holding a ceremony to start making a statue of the king in Loc Ha District of the province, reports Vietnamplus.

The statue of King Mai Hac De is made from a bronze block which is 10.8m high. The statue is located on a 4.7m high stone base in an 18ha area at the foot of Bang Son Mountain in Thinh Loc Commune.

The temple in Mai Lam Village in Mai Phu Commune, the hometown of the king, will cover nearly 1,000 square meters and cost over VND105 billion.
