Teaching Hall of Linh Son Phuoc temple in Tay Ninh inaugurated

The teaching hall of Linh Son Phuong pagoda in the Nui Ba temples complex in Tay Ninh city was inaugurated at a ceremony held on December 13.

Attending the inauguration ceremony included Most Venerable President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council Thích Thiện Nhơn, Most Venerable Chairman of the VBS Chapter’s Executive Committee in Tay Ninh province Thích Thông Nghiêm, Senior Nun Director of the Nui Ba temples complex cum Vice Chairwoman of the VBS Committee in the province Thích nữ Diệu Nghĩa, and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers from localities.

Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công was amongst local guests at the ceremony.

As reported at the event, the teaching hall was completed after over two years of construction, with 45m long, 18m wide, three floors, and at the construction cost of VND 20 billion. This teaching hall is said to be used as the venue for a grand Buddhist ordainment conference to be held in 2017.
