On February 23, Tay Ninh Muslim Representative Committee held an opening ceremony for the 2nd Islam tenet training course at Nourul Ehsan Mosque in Tan Phu commune, Tan Chau district.
The opening ceremony saw the participation of Chairman of the Tay Ninh Muslim Representative Committee Haji Chàm Sá, members of the Committee; dignitaries and nearly 300 people from mosques in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Giang Ngọc Trực and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công.
This is the second tenet training held by the Representative Committee at Nourul Ehsan Mosque. Registering the nine-month Islam tenet course were 111 students of Cham Muslims inside and outside the locality. During the training course, students will study basic contents of Qur’an and Islamic teachings and rites.
