On December 24, the Representative Committee of the Islam community in Tay Ninh province solemnly celebrated the birth anniversary of Prophet Nabi Muhammad, at a ceremony held in Darul Naim Lil Muslimin mosque in Tay Ninh province.
Attending the event were Chairman of the Islam community’s Representative Committee Haji Chàm Sá, members of the committee and the Islam community’s dignitaries, and about 200 Islam followers from mosques in the locality.
Local guests joining the celebration included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Vĩnh Thế, Head of the Ethnic - Religious Board under the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Lê Văn Nghĩa and local authorities’ representatives.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyễn Vĩnh Thế praised Islamic dignitaries and followers for their contributions to the socio-economic development in the locality. He also extended greetings to Islamic dignitaries and followers on the occasion of Nabi Muhammad’s birthday celebration.
