A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the temple worshipping Divine Goddess of An Hoa Caodai Parish was held on April 23.
Attending the event were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh - President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Council and about 600 Caodai followers inside and outside the province.
Local authorities’ representatives at the ceremony included Head of Caidai Affairs Division under the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Đồng.
It’s reported that An Hoa Parish was established in 1987. As its original Divine Goddess temple degraded after over 18 years of existence, the Management Board of An Hoa Parish approved a plan to rebuild the worshipping place and supporting facilities according to a Church’s model of design.
