Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Home Affairs cum Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trang Văn Hải chaired a working meeting with a delegation of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education of Children and Youth on Jan. 19.
The NA Committee delegation comprised of 13 member including deputies and representatives from ministries, central agencies, and experts, led by Vice Chairman of the Committee Trịnh Ngọc Thạch.
Regarding to religious issues, Mr. Trang Văn Hải briefed current religious situation in the locality and achievements during ten years implementing the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, as well as answered religion-related questions raised by the NA delegation.
On the same day the NA delegation visited and met with Tay Ninh provincial VBS Executive Committee for practical findings about the implementation of laws on religion.
As scheduled, the delegation of the NA Committee on Culture, Education of Children and Youth would have meetings with the People’s Committee of Hoa Thanh district, Caodai Tay Ninh Church and Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee. The delegation’s working meetings in Tay Ninh province aim to make practical recommendations and proposals to the drafting of law on belief and religion to be completed this year.
