The Representative Committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tien Giang province held a meeting on February 24 to review its performance in 2018 and approve working plans for 2019.
The event saw the participation of Priest Chairman of the Caodai representative committee Thượng Đều Thanh and by 55 delegates representing 29 Caodai communities under Tay Ninh Caodai sect in the province.
Guests at the meeting included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê.
As reported at the event, during the year, under the representative committee’s leadership, two oratories and one Divine Mother temple under the Caodai church in the province have been inaugurated; 125 dignitaries and deacons attended a disseminating conference for the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree 162. In addition, Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers in the province last year actively participated in social and charitable activities in the locality with a total contributing value of more than VND 700 million.
