Tay Ninh Caodai Church held on February 12 a grand closing ceremony of the holy festival dedicated to the religious Supreme Being called Duc Chi Ton at Tay Ninh Holy See in Tay Ninh province.
Attending the ceremony included Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh, members of the Standing Board and Nine Institutes.
Local guests at the event included Director of the Department of Caodai Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Afffairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Đắc Tuấn, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Nguyễn Thành Tâm and authorities of Tay Ninh city and Hoa Thanh district.
The festival is one of the two most holy events annually held for Caodai followers. This year event took place from February 04-12 (from the 8th to 16th of the first lunar month). With 30 exhibition models on activities of the church in 2016, musical instruments, overseas Caodai communities, the nation heroes, etc, the grand festival attracted large numbers of Caodai believers and pilgrims from inside and outside the country.
