Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Council attended the event and delivered the opening speech.

Attending the festival included Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, officals of central agencies and local authorities and four religious delegations of Japanese Oomoto religion and Xian Tian Dao sects from Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore, and tens of thousands of followers across the country.                                                                             

During the event held on two days of Sept. 27-28, participants enjoyed typical religious and cultural activities, including worshipping ceremonies, dragon and four sacred animals dances and peace praying ceremonies, as well as presentation of gifts to children on occasion of the mid-Autumn festival.

This year, the participation of foreign religious delegations showed the Church’s increasing international exchange and relations.
