Chairman of the steering board for ethnic and religious affairs in Long An province’s Tan Tru district Trần Văn Đốc chaired an exchange meeting on November 22 with religious dignitaries in the locality.
The dialogue drew the participation of 20 abbots of Buddhist pagodas and heads of Caodai oratory management boards in the district.
During the meeting, representatives of religious organizations in the district raised practical issues regarding procedures for constructing ancillary religious facilities, conditions for land use right certificates, as well as asked the authorities to pay due attention to the environmental protection in the locality.
