Tam Toa shrine in Ha Tinh receives historical & cultural title

Tam Toa Shrine located in Cam Lac commune in Ha Tinh province’s Cam Xuyen district was formally recognized as a provincial historical – cultural relic at a ceremony held on October 27.  

The shrine currently worships Uy Minh Vương Lý Nhật Quang, the 8th prince of Ly Dynasty; Four Goddess Saints  (Tứ Vị Thánh Nương), four members of a royal family of Song Dynasty; and local deities. 

Tam Toa Shrine has existed for hundreds of years. Its annual festival takes place in the second lunar month.

Locals often come to the shrine during the shrine’s worshipping events and the New Year for paying respects to those having rendered meritoriouis service to the people and the country, as well as praying for good weather and bumper crops.
