The opening ceremony for the summer Buddhist course “Return to the Source” was held on June 10 in Tam Chuc pagoda’s conference center in Ha Nam province.
Attending at the ceremony included Deputy Director of Vietnam Buddhist Institute cum Head of the course’s Organizing Board Senior Venerable Thích Minh Quang, Vice Chairman of Ha Nam provincial People’s Committee Bùi Quang Cẩm, and large numbers of Buddhist dignitaries and followers.

The seven-day course attracted the participation of 1,500 pupils and students from 30 provinces and cities over the country.
With the message “Love, understanding and responsibility living”, the summer Buddhist course covers contents on morality, gratitude to parents, individual and social responsibility, and prevention from social evils. The course participants will also engage in exchanges of cultural and sport activities.
