The Saint Joseph Major Seminary in Hanoi held on September 10 a ceremony to start the school year at its Theological Faculty in Hanoi city’s Bac Tu Liem district.
The ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, attended by bishops from dioceses of Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Lang Son and Phat Diem, auxiliary bishops, priests of the Seminary’s Director Board, and over 300 seminaries from 8 dioceses under the Archdiocese.
In his speech at the event, Cardinal Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn cited Pope Francis words to encourage seminaries to follow the example of Lord Jesus in the pastoral service.
