Southwest branch of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organizes religious study tour in An Giang

A delegation of the Southwest branch of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized on July 3 a study tour in An Giang province.

The study tour is part of a ministerial - level scientific research project for promoting the role of Buddhism, Caodaism and Hoa Hao Buddhism in the implementation of the law on belief and religion in the Mekong Delta.

During the study tour, the delegation led by Dr. Deputy Director Huỳnh Thành Quang had a meeting with the provincial committee for religious affairs for exchanges on the religious life, the state management on religions and the dissemination of the law on belief and religion to religious followers in the locality.

The delegation also visited and had exchanges with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhism, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive committee and the Representative Committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in the locality.
