The Representative Committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Lam Dong province held on June 18 the theological training 2017 at Da Lat Protestant church located in the province’s Da lat city.
Attending the conference’s opening ceremony included Pastor President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Lam Dong province Kon Să Ha Hăck, Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Council of Clergy cum Head of the Representative Committee in the province Cil Múp Ha Kar, members of the representative committee, and over 5,000 Protestant dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality.
The opening ceremony also saw the participation of representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and local authorities.
Speaking at the one-day event, while praising practical contributions of local Protestants to socio-economic development in the province, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Minh An asked the ECVN’s dignitaries and deacons to further promote their role in encouraging followers to observe the State’s policies and laws, including the Law on Belief and Religion that will take effect on January 1, 2018.
