Southern Protestant Church appoints Superintendent of local congregation in Quang Tri province

Cua Viet Protestant Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Quang Tri province officially appointed Missionary Lê Trung Kien as its Superintendent at a ceremony held on May 5 in Trieu Phong district.
The event saw the participation of Pastor Võ Đình Đán from the ECVN (Southern); pastors from the Church’s representatives committees in Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province and about 200 members who are pastors, commissioned pastors, missionaries and followers of Cua Viet Chapter.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Văn Hiệt and local authorities’ representatives also joint Protestants at the event and presented a congratulatory flowers to the new superintendent.
The ceremony took place in a solemn and delighted atmosphere.
