The Vietnam Evangelical Church (Southern)’s chapter in Tien Giang province’s Cai Lay district in collaboration with the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front held on February 12 a ceremony for starting the construction of a rural bridge in the locality.
The ceremony saw the presence of Pastor Commissioner of the Evangelical Church cum Head of the church’s Cai Lay chapter Lê Văn Như Kỷ and Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Huỳnh Văn Hải.
According to the construction design, the rural bridge is of 12 meters long, 2.7 meters wide and the loading capacity of 2.5 tons.
The construction valued at over 150 million VND was contributed by the Evangelical Church’s followers in the locality and expected to be completed in March, 2019.
