The Hoa Hao Buddhist representative committee in Hau Giang in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the province has presented 10 solidarity houses, each worth 30 million VND, to poor households in Luong Nghia commune, Long My district.

The Committee has presented 15 million VND for the Covid-19 prevention work in the province as well as 100 gift sets to people affected by the pandemic in the locality, value at 30 million VND.

In addition, the Committee also has maintained nine charity kitchen teams for providing free meals, porridge and water for poor patients in hospitals in the province, as well as conducted free health examinations and provided traditional medicines, etc.

The total practical contributions of the Committee in the first six months of 2021 worth over 11 billion VND.
