Secretary of Party’s Committee in Soc Trang Lâm Văn Mẫn visits Secondary School of Complementary Pali Education in Southern Vietnam

Accompanying the delegation included Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee in the province Vương Quốc Nam.

During the visits, the provincial delegation met with Most Venerable Dương Nhơn, Deputy Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Association for Solidarity of Patriotic Monks cum Abbot of Prek On Dok pagoda in the province, and education board of the Secondary School of Complementary Pali Education in Southern Vietnam (Pali School).

At the visit meetings, Secretary Lâm Văn Mẫn extended warm greetings to Most Venerable Dương Nhơn, who is being treated at Soc Trang Provincial General Hospital, and extended congratulations to dignitaries and monks of Pali school, on the occasion of Sene Dolta Festival.

On the same day, a delegation led by Chairman of the People’s Committee in the province Trần Văn Lâu paid visits for extending Sene Dolta’s greetings to policy beneficiaries, retired officers and monks in pagodas of the Khmer Theravada Buddhism in the province’s Chau Thanh district.

The delegation visited the family of Former Director of the provincial Education and Training Department Kim Sơn, and met with monks and lay Buddhists in Kompong Trop pagoda located in An Hiep commune, Tum Nup pagoda located in An Ninh commune and Ta Kvich Thmay pagoda in Ho Dac Kien commune.

On the occasion, Chairman of the Party Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education cum Head of the Political School in the province Lâm Tấn Hòa on September 20 extended Sene Dolta visits to Most Venerable Tăng Nô, Member of the VBS’s Central Executive Council, Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee cum Deputy Head of the Solidarity of Patriotic Monks Association and Head of Khleang pagoda in the province; the management board of Pem Buol Thay pagoda; and Former Vice Chairman of the provincial Communication and Education Commission Lâm Phương.
